Zilogic at the WiFi Knowledge Summit 2026
Zilogic Systems is pleased to announce our participation in the WiFi Knowledge Summit 2026 as a Summit Associate. Since 2022, Zilogic has been associated with the summit through multiple participations and technical engagements. Over the years, the summit has consistently stood out as one of the few industry platforms where meaningful, engineering-driven conversations take place, while bringing the teams together for actively discussing, debating and suggesting the leaders and engineers to build and deploy next-generation scalable wireless and broadband solutions.
Each edition has given us the opportunity to exchange practical insights with ecosystem players across SoC vendors, device manufacturers, operators, and technology partners, making the summit an important part of our continued engagement with the wireless community. This year, we are excited to deepen our collaboration with the ecosystem by presenting technical insights into emerging operating systems shaping the broadband industry, along with live demonstrations showcasing our work on open broadband platforms and residential gateway software.
What We Are Presenting
Ashok G, Head of Solutions at Zilogic Systems, will deliver a technical session exploring OpenWrt, RDK-B, and prplOS in the context of the industry challenges they were designed to address and how effectively they support modern residential gateway requirements.
The session will explore:
-
Exploration of the end-to-end data flow from the cloud to the chip across modern broadband and gateway platforms
-
Insights into the ecosystem spanning SoC vendors, device manufacturers, and telecom operators, along with how these OSes align with operator requirements and industry standardization initiatives
-
A high-level overview of the architectural differences across OpenWrt, RDK-B, and prplOS, including practical integration challenges encountered while working with SoC vendor drivers.
The talk aims to provide attendees with a practical and implementation-focused understanding of where these platforms stand today and how they continue to evolve within the connected home and broadband ecosystem. Alongside the presentation, our Networking & WiFi engineering team will also showcase live demonstrations of prpl and RDK-B implementations running on open-source hardware platforms.
Meet Us at the Summit
If you are working on CPE development, access point or gateway firmware, broadband middleware, or operator deployment programs, we invite you to connect with our team at the summit. We look forward to engaging in meaningful technical discussions, sharing practical engineering experiences, and collaborating with the broader wireless ecosystem to help shape the next generation of connectivity solutions.
See you at the Summit!
